Local Ambassador
Your bilingual concierge — and your security team back home
Weekly or Monthly
Moving to a new country — even temporarily — comes with a hundred small tasks that are easy at home and complicated abroad. Setting up a gym membership, calling about an apartment, understanding a lease in Spanish, finding a doctor, or simply figuring out which grocery store has the best produce. Our Local Ambassadors are bilingual Medellín residents who handle these things every day. Think of them as your on-the-ground concierge — part translator, part guide, part problem-solver. They also serve as your personal security point of contact: when you tell someone you're meeting, 'my security team will contact you to verify arrangements,' your ambassador makes that call — verifying identities, collecting IDs, confirming meeting details, and making sure the other party knows someone is looking out for you.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can they help with apartment rentals?
Yes! Our ambassadors can schedule viewings, negotiate terms, review leases, and communicate with landlords on your behalf.
How does the security team verification work?
When you're meeting someone new — a date, a business contact, an Airbnb host — tell them 'my security team will contact you.' Your ambassador then calls them, verifies their identity, collects a copy of their ID, and confirms the meeting time and place. This lets the other party know someone is looking out for you, and gives you an extra layer of safety.
How far in advance to book?
We recommend at least 24 hours' notice for standard requests. Same-day service is sometimes available — just ask.
